Secure your Desktop Icons and Settings

Ever wondered how you can be more secure when your desktop is accessed by many of your colegues or friends? Doesn’t it bother you when some of them change your icons, delete them?
Secure your desktop with this neat trick that we provide!
You can save your desktop settings and even secure it by making some changes to your Windows Registry.
Step 1:
Open the registry (Start->Run->Regedit.exe)
Step 2:
Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Step 3:
In the right pane create a new DWORD value that’s called: NoSaveSettings and modify it’s value to 1.

Restart your Windows system for the settings to take life ![]()
