Microsoft Windows

Every software has mistakes because it is written by humans, because of its complexity and unthinkable probabilities. But security experts, programmers and vendors are always trying to correct this sort of things. In order to have the lattest patches you should always use the latest version of the Software. You should enable Windows update but also update your Antivirus and other softwares.

If you are tried to minimize all the windows you have opened you should learn this shortcut because it shows you the Windows Desktop instantly.

Windows Key + D

After pressing this combination for the second time the windows would be back on your screen like before.

The same effect can be seen if you press Windows Key + M wich will instead minimize the opened windows.

But, after pressing it again nothing will happend as the windows were only minimised.

Why not locking down the computer?! We always try to protect ourselves from the hackers on the Internet. Most of us don’t really have that bad enemies. Most of the hacking is done by exploiting the human behavior and social psichology: It is much simple and less time-consuming to ask a username to run a certain software instead of trying to find code-error, especially on closed sourcecode software like Windows.

I always tought that Microsoft had a greate ideea of not making the sourcecode of any version of Windows opensource. Like any software it has errors but imagine if anyone could search letter by letter the code… The probability for someone to find an error that can be exploited is huge, and in this case everyone that runs Windows OS(almost every individual in the world) would suffer from hacking abuse.

To lock down your computer you can press: Windows Key + L.

One more thing you can do is setting a password for your screensaver: Control Panel -> Display Settings -> Screen Saver -> Check “On resume, password protect” -> Settings (and set the password here)

One more way to open the Display Settings Window is to click right on the Windows Desktop and then from the menu click Properties.

Sure! There is an easyer way to copy files then using the shortcut Ctrl+C (Copy).

This is pretty simple: Ctrl+Drag.

All you need to do now is select the files you want to copy, hold Control key and drag the files to the desired location.
